Tech-Air® 5 Plasma is the latest addition to Alpinestars’ family of airbag systems. This innovative and ultra-light system is designed to be worn comfortably under any motorcycle jacket without restricting freedom of movement. Its slim profile makes it practically invisible under a jacket, while still providing advanced protection for maximum safety and comfort while riding.
The system uses cutting-edge PLASMA protective technology and is optimized for the lowest possible weight and maximum comfort. It protects the upper body — the chest, ribs, back, and shoulders — and is also equipped with an integrated back protector made from Nucleon PLASMA material, ensuring the ideal combination of flexibility, breathability, protection, and comfort.
A newly developed algorithm supports three riding modes — STREET, OFF-ROAD, and RACE — ensuring precise adaptation of the system to different riding conditions. Thanks to user-replaceable cartridges, the system is reusable and offers maximum reliability on every ride.
